Registration will open up again June 28th!

Lighthouse Sobriety (LHS) is a community of like-minded women who embrace a sober lifestyle to feel their best and have some fun along the way!

After the honeymoon phase of early sobriety, I often hear… where do I go from here? I noticed many of the women in my groups rejoined courses to have that tight-knit community to continue their success. Instead of repeating the course, this membership ensures your sobriety stays strong. To expand your community, keep you accountable, and to keep improving your life.

Each month will focus on a different topic of long-term sobriety: morning routines, making amends, sleep, relapse prevention, nutrition, triggers, etc.

Because sobriety isn’t just about quitting drinking, it’s about taking care of yourself in all aspects of life. Hydration, movement, community, mental fitness, sleep, nutrition, etc. So I’ve put all of those components into this membership to have you feel your best and make 1% improvements every single day.

Think coaching, fitness, book clubs, meetups and more!

FEB: Menstrual Cycle Syncing for Sobriety
Your energy and mood are not the same everyday! Your hormones play a HUGE role in sobriety! Once you can understand your body better as a woman in whatever phase you are in, you can begin to work WITH your body to alleviate anxiety, boost your mood and improve your sleep. Learn the 4 different phases and how to navigate your energy for each phase.

MAR: Navigating Moon Phases for Sobriety (with Julie Morris)
Explore the profound connection between lunar phases and your energy. From harnessing the energy of the new moon for setting intentions and initiating change, to finding strength and reflection during the full moon's peak, each phase offers insights and strategies tailored specifically for women seeking to maintain sobriety.

APR: Top 10 Sobriety Foods (Liver/Brain/Anti-inflammatory)
Food can help repair the damage from alcohol and support your mental health! Eat crap, feel like crap. Eat good, feel good! They also help reduce cravings, improve our mood, boost our energy, and build our confidence in sobriety. I’ll show you my top 10 and different ways to include them into your meal plan for the week!

MAY: Stages of Grief
In our journey through loss over alcohol or someone you love, we often encounter the five stages of grief, a framework that helps us navigate the emotions that accompany profound change. You are closing one chapter of your life and moving into a new one and there is a sense of loss that comes with that.

JUNE: Local & National Sober Events
Virtual meetings are awesome, but it’s equally beneficial to connect in-person. So let’s see what we can find in your area and what sober events/retreats are popping up across the world!

JULY: Breaking the Cycle: Understanding Cross-Addiction
Being aware of different areas where we may seek out dopamine in sobriety is something to keep an eye on. Transfer addictions can develop in areas such as over-exercising, shopping, gambling, food, etc. We’ll dive into how they form, what it can look like, and some tools to implement to help you stay on track.

AUG: DBT Skills
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured therapy that focuses on teaching four core skills: mindfulness, acceptance & distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT helps you navigate difficult situations to live a happier, more fulfilling life. We'll walk through the different techniques and how to apply each of them to your daily routine.

SEPT: Fit At Any Age / 10-Min Walking Challenge
Focus on what you CAN do, not on what you can’t. Something is always better than nothing, and there are certain exercises that are important for every age! Stay fit through every decade! And that can start with a 10-min walk outside. Every day this month, we’re committing to lacing up our sneakers and getting outside for some vitamin D and movement to support our sobriety! You’ll receive a tracker, daily challenges and different exercises to try out.

OCT: Sober October! Pump Up the Protein to Lower Those Sugar Cravings!
When your blood sugar is low, your body will crave sweets to counteract it. Protein helps balance your blood sugar, leading to lower sugar and alcohol cravings. We start by swapping in healthier desserts to satisfy that sweet tooth to leave us feeling full and satisfied all day long.

NOV: Mindfulness: Simple Ways to Be More Present | Meditation Challenge
The power is in the present moment. This month, we’ll dive into some simple tips for how to build these habits in your daily life: mindful listening, eating mindfully, putting our phone away, slowing down and enjoying the moment.

DEC: Finding Balance: Stress Management Tips
Prep for the holiday stress by getting plan together and practicing some simple stress-relieving techniques to restore you back to calm: exercise, breathing, oils, tea, warm baths, meditation, etc.

Questions?

When does coaching start?

Coaching happens at the beginning of the month, based on the monthly topic.

Do you have to have a certain time alcohol-free?

Nope! All are welcome!

Do I have to attend all meetings?

Nope! Meetings are completely optional. You attend what you would like!

This is a year program at $37 a month.  Do we pay monthly?

It's a monthly membership! You have the option to pay per month, OR lock in the discounted rate and pay for a year's access to get that rate.

I’m nervous about committing. What if I fail?

Sobriety is all about PROGRESS and growth. Drinking again is just a learning opportunity. When you see it that way, you start to get curious about it instead of feeling shameful.

You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be willing to try something new. Nothing changes if nothing changes right?

What if I don’t check-in?

That’s ok! Checking in is COMPLETELY optional. Many of the women in my groups find it beneficial to keep them on track.

Do we meet in-person or is everything virtual?

Everything is online! So you’ll meet women from all over the country! And, it’s a lot easier to make the calls when you don’t have to drive anywhere.

Is this based on AA?

Nope. Not at all.

What if I’m not in good shape?

That’s ok! Movement is suitable for anyone, whether your current fitness level is beginner or advanced. Walking is fantastic is start with, but exercise is not a requirement for this membership.

What if I don’t know what to do for my workouts?

I will help you figure this out during the group! Walking is a great way to start! So many of our workout choices require zero equipment and are free!

Do I need a printer?

You don’t NEED a printer, but I highly encourage you to at least print out the tracker. There is scientific evidence that physically crossing off your habits will make you that more successful by seeing the progress you are making.

What if I can’t make the live calls?

All coaching sessions, meeting and workout classes are recorded and uploaded into the membership so you can watch the replay!

Will I have to be on Facebook?

Nope! Everything is housed on a separate membership site, along with an app to access on-the-go!

Is this for women only?

Yes. We feel more open and comfortable with women, so I want you to be as open and honest with the group about whatever is going on.

Can I get 1:1 support as well during the group?

YES! If you'd like to upgrade to work with Jen privately, you can reach out to her directly at jenleehirst@gmail.com for prices and information.

what people are saying…

“Jen is fantastic and I am so lucky and blessed to have found her. I loved taking this course and growing and learning more. I can tell this is Jen's passion and she cares so strongly for the sober community and wants everyone to succeed. She is there for you whenever you need to talk and has a wealth of knowledge to share! The was a fantastic experience and I am so happy I was able to be a part of it!”

— Reclaim Your Life participant

“I came to Jen struggling with the idea of long term sobriety and left knowing I can do this and I am so strong! She leads in a way that’s tailored to the client and their unique experience around alcohol. For me, I needed community and a friend who got it and she not only listened but treated me as one. While in our sessions we discussed the hard things— parenting, marriage and alcohol triggers while creating new positive coping skills. I learned to be confident in my decisions and how to become honest around my sobriety!

I am forever grateful to Jen for being by my side during these 90 continuous days of sobriety! I can’t wait to check in with her at the next 90! A true confidant for life!”

— Client

“Joining RYL put me into a group of sober and sober-seeking women facing the same mental, physical, and social hurdles as me around sobriety. Nobody has to be alone in their sobriety journey. Connection and community are out there, and RYL is a warm and supportive place to find it.”

— Reclaim Your Life participant

“If you're on the fence with alcohol, wondering if you can moderate better, wanting to quit all together, or struggle with realities of life and working thru issues and not craving a beer or a glass of wine, please consider this course. I believe that my future success hinges on the fact I took this course and was active. I consider myself a success story for sure. Thanks Jen for what you went thru, and share with others in order to improve their lives.”

— Reclaim Your Life participant

“To say you’ve changed my life for the better would be an understatement. You’ve also, subsequently changed my family’s life for the better. You are encouraging and thoughtful and I think we all knew that there was nothing you wouldn’t do to help us on our journey. I’m looking forward to experiencing a new life sober, going on vacations, and watching my kids grow up. It feels fun and exciting. I know not every day, or every moment will be like that. But I have faith that I have the tools and capability to slow down, reach out to the group and make better decisions than I was making before. Thank you for everything Jen. I’ve loved these 8 weeks more than I can say. And I have no doubt that every person who joins you in this journey will know for a fact that you were meant to do this work.”

— Reclaim Your Life participant

“I started working with Jen after a year of trying to cut back and stop drinking on my own. After two weeks of working with Jen, I put down the drink and right now I’m on day 66. The last time I went this long without drinking was over three years ago. I needed the accountability and for someone to prompt me to think about the “why” behind my sobriety. Seeing Jen every week with her smiling, glowing face reminded me of what I could be and have if I just cut booze out of my life. I’m so grateful for her guidance and inspiration. I’m so glad I decided to make the investment in myself!”
